How Do I Meet People?

Freedom is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church family. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Freedom.

Children’s Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the children’s teachers prepare a weekly lesson to be taught at a level their students can understand.

In addition to a weekly Sunday School Class, our children’s ministries include Summer Camp, Vacation Bible School, and a vibrant Junior Church program. On Wednesday November 6, 2013 we launched our

“Kids 4 Truth”

ministry for children four years old through the fifth grade.

Teenagers at Freedom meet weekly for a Bible study with their peers under the instruction of a Youth Director who loves them and takes a personal interest in their lives.

The Freedom teens also enjoy a challenging week of Boot Camp in the Summer, regular activities with other teen groups, and opportunity to serve in Community Outreaches.

Adult Life Groups

We offer adult classes that we call Life Groups. We are more than just a Bible Class. We “do life” together. The following Life Groups meet every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. for lite refreshments, fellowship, and a relevant Bible lesson.

ABC Class

Our Anchor Bible Class is a general class that meets every Sunday at 9:45am. We have a very diverse group in this class including singles and married couples, ranging in age from thirty-one and up. This class affords us the opportunity to get acquainted with Freedom members and guests in an intimate small group environment. We enjoy breakfast together, fellowship in table groups, and a challenging lesson from the Bible.

God’s Redeemed

God’s Redeemed is a Life Group class for married couples ages 31-50. We meet every Sunday at 9:45am for a time of food, fellowship, and a Bible devotion. Because our ministry is to married couples that are often still rearing small children, we strive to focus many of our lessons on topics that will be helpful for home and family. We also meet regularly outside the church setting to build our own personal relationships and strengthen our Christian walk.

The #singlefocus Bible Class was started in October, 2013. We minister to singles between 18 and 30 years of age, and meet Sunday at 9:45am for a time of fellowship, a light breakfast, and a timely lesson from the Word of God. A great emphasis is placed on fellowship and activities outside the church, as well as growth and direction for an age group often in a transition season of their lives.

Butterfly Ladies

The Butterfly Ladies Bible Class began meeting September 11, 2016. We are a  class where all ladies are invited and encouraged to attend. Our emphasis is on meeting needs that are specific to ladies and ministering to one another in a warm and informal classroom setting.  We meet every Sunday at 9:45 am for a time of refreshments, fellowship, and a relevant Bible lesson. Pick up one of our Classroom Cards at the Welcome Center and grow with us in this new and uplifting ministry.

Men of Faith

The Men of Faith also began meeting on September 11, 2016. Our ministry is open to all men, married or single. Our goal is to build lives, and teach all who attend to have a closer walk with Jesus Christ. Our desire is to learn and apply principles that help our men to become the very best they can be in influencing the lives of their loved ones. Please pick up one of our Classroom Cards at the Welcome Center and join us Sunday morning for a light breakfast, uplifting conversation, and an interactive Bible study.
