How Do I Meet People?
Freedom is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church family. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Freedom.
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the children’s teachers prepare a weekly lesson to be taught at a level their students can understand.
In addition to a weekly Sunday School Class, our children’s ministries include Summer Camp, Vacation Bible School, and a vibrant Junior Church program. Effective Wednesday November 6, 2013 we launch our new “Kids 4 Truth” ministry for children three years old through the fifth grade.
Teenagers at Freedom meet weekly for a Bible study with their peers under the instruction of a Youth Director who loves them and takes a personal interest in their lives.
The Freedom teens also enjoy a challenging week of Boot Camp in the Summer, regular activities with other teen groups, and opportunity to serve in Community Outreaches.
Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. At Freedom, we have a Bible Class dedicated to married couples with small children. Relevant topics include Marriage and Money, Getting Ready for Kids, Shepherding Children, and Marriage Intimacy with a biblical foundation and perspective. Couples learn in a classroom atmosphere where all are invited to participate.
Our Anchor Bible Class is a general class that meets every Sunday at 9:45am. We have a very diverse group in this class including singles and married couples, ranging in age from thirty-one and up. This class affords us the opportunity to get acquainted with Freedom members and guests in an intimate small group environment. We enjoy breakfast together, fellowship in table groups, and a challenging lesson from the Bible.
The #singlefocus class is a new young singles class that was started in October, 2013. We are a class for singles between 18 and 30 years of age, and meet Sunday at 9:45am for a time of fellowship, a light breakfast, and a timely lesson from the Word of God. A great emphasis is placed on fellowship and activities outside the church, as well as growth and direction for an age group often in a transition season of their lives.
Singles That Care
Singles That Care was established in October, 2013 as a singles class for adults 31 and over. We emphasize ministering to people that have been affected by divorce, death of a spouse, loneliness, or just looking for a place to fit in with other single Christians. We meet at 9:45am on Sunday and have a get acquainted period with food and fellowship. We then enjoy a relevant lesson from the Bible that ministers to us and helps us minister to others.
